An employer can sponsor an employee from overseas for either Permanent Resident or Temporary Visa, depending on the applicant meeting the requirements such as qualifications, work experiences and occupations. Please contact JKN Migration for assessment on your eligibility.
2. Do I need to sit for English test for applying Employer sponsored Visa?
Unless exempted, evidence of English proficiency will be required for employer sponsored visa sc 482 Temporary Visa and sc 186 Permanent Visa. Applicant must meet minimum prescribed score for each type of English Test and visa type. Please contact JKN Migration for details of the requirement for each type of visa.

3. Do I need to have my skills assessed?
Depending on your nationalities, occupations, the country you obtained your qualifications, you may be required to have your skills assessment by relevant skills assessor in Australia.
4. Can you find an employer to sponsor me?
No, as we are not a recruitment agent, we can not find an employer for you. However, if you have a prospective employer who is considering to sponsor you, we are happy to discuss with your prospective employer on any issues that they may have.
SkillSelect is an online service that enables skilled workers interested in migrating to Australia to record their details to be considered for a skilled visa through an Expression of Interest (EOI). Intending migrants can be found and nominated for skilled visas by Australian employers or state and territory governments, or they could be invited by the Australian Government to lodge a visa application.
2. What is point test?
It is a mechanism used to help select skilled migrants, points will be awarded based on Age, English language, Qualifications, Work experience, Partner’s skill, Community Language, Sponsorship by eligible relatives and Nomination from the State/Territory government. 3. What occupations are currently eligible to apply under skilled migration scheme?

4. I have relative who is an Australian PR/Citizen, will that help?
Eligible relatives can sponsor you for a Temporary Resident visa. Your relatives must live in designated area to be able to sponsor you.
Yes, you don’t have to get married to apply for spouse visa, you are eligible to apply for de facto partner visa if you can show that your relationship is genuine and ongoing.
2. My fiancé is currently living overseas and we have not been living together, can I sponsor her to come to Australia?
Yes, you can apply for a prospective marriage visa, which will enable your fiancé to come to Australia to be with you. You must marry your fiancé before expiry date of her/his visa.
3. I am in the same sex relationship, can I sponsor my partner?
Yes, you can. Same sex couples are eligible to apply for spouse visa provided that you meet other requirements and able to provide evidence of genuine relationships. JKN Migration can assist you in preparing the evidence as required by DIAC.
In order to apply for Parent visa the balance of family test requires that at least half of your children must be Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident and live permanently in Australia, or that more of your children live permanently in Australia than in any other country.
2. What is the difference between contributory and non-contributory parent visa?
Applicants for contributory visa are required to make payment (contribution) to cover their future health/welfare costs. This contributory payment is non-refundable. Visa processing time for contributory parent visa is much faster than the non-contributory one, which may take longer than 10 years.
3. We would like to sponsor our aged parent to Australia, and would like them to be in Australia soon, but do not want to pay the high contributory payment. Is there any other option?
